Super aromatic and fruity coffee from Bensa highland region of Sidama. Yes, Sidama, one the most famous coffee regions of Ethiopia. 

Zesty fruit, bright, clean and aromatic. The dry aroma reminds me clearly the liquorice plum and dry mango. The wet aroma continues with liquorice plum, and more spiced tones. 

When drinking black, our pour over brew came out bright, clean, intense liquorice plum flavors. If you are a patient drinker, you will enjoy the flavor variations as the temperatures drops. It started with intense sweet, smooth and gently acidic, then it bright acidity picks up even more, just like the liquorice plum flavor changes as you chew on it; when the coffee temperature further drops, the lychee jelly flavor starts emerging until the coffee gets cold. Then it's back to the clean, sweet and moist state. 

The aftertaste is moist and sweet, and last for hours.

A great sweet and fruity espresso too! Drinking the espresso straight can be very enjoyable - liquorice plum - you won't miss it - Adding milk to make it a latte art, it won't cover the fruitiness - taste sweet and medium weight. Quite suitable for a mid-day or afternoon coffee break :-)
