EPO (Easy-Pour-Over) Coffee Options
- Symphony Collection - The symphony collection contains 10 bags of Easy-Pour-Over coffee with 4~5 types of seasonal Single Origin Single Estate coffee and 2~3 bags per type. Like a symphony, the coffee flavors ranges from classical, fruity to floral, from heavy body syrupy to delicate tea feel. Symphony Collection is previously called as EPO "Coffee Samplers". - Classical Collection - The Classical Collection contains 10 bags of Easy-Pour-Over coffee with 2～4 types of seasonal Single Origin Single Estate coffee and 2~5 bags per type. Just as indicated in the collection name, it only selects the coffee with classical flavors: low acidity, heavy body, usually with spice, nutty, sugary or chocolaty flavors. Ways to Enjoy EPO
You may brew EPO in many fun ways. Here we show a few examples.
Conventional EPO Brew: A Pour-Over Way
To brew a cup of Easy-Pour-Over coffee, you will simply need the following:
- An envelope of Voca Coffee Easy-Pour-Over coffee
- A kettle of hot water. A gooseneck kettle is preferred.
- A coffee cup around 6~8 oz (180～240 ml)
And follow the steps below:
❶ Take the Easy-Pour-Over filter out from the envelope, and tear its edge off along the dash line.
❷ On the side of the filter, there are two hangers; carefully pull both hangers to open the filter; use the hangers to secure the filter on the edge of the coffee cup.
❸ Pour just enough water to cover the coffee grinds inside the filter, wait for 30 seconds to let it bloom; Pour the rest of water into the filter evenly in a slow circular motion, for around 2～3 minutes.
The total water amount should be around 5 OZ (150 ml). You can adjust the water amount based on your preference.
The water temperature should be around 197～202 ºF (91 ~ 94 ℃).
❹ Wait for another 1~2 minutes for the water to drip through, then discard the filter. Drink black, or add cream and sugar as desired.
Tumbler Way: A Immersion Brew
What if I am on the run and don't have the luxury to do the Pour-Over way. Say, I am hiking and I only have a tumbler. And what if I want to brew several bags in one shot.
